Reading our blog one might think there has not happened so much in the last weeks. But in fact there has been a lot:
Last week the Executive Board went to NKK, the 'Nationale Kick-off Konferenz'. Together with all the EBs of Germany and together with the Member Committee, the National Support Team and some more AIESECers we stayed for four days at 'Haus Neuland' near Bielefeld. There we learned about different things such as new computer programmes used with External Relations and the Exchange area as well as about the Extensions to Iran, Isreal and Palestine. And of course we dealt with our functional areas (e.g. finance, people development, exchange...) and got to know e.g. all the people of our region.
Well, another thing to do at the moment is the 'Newiewerbephase'. That means promoting AIESEC and finding new members for our Local Committee. Therefore we organised two evening info sessions and some more stuff - let's see how many students will be interested.
And of course most of the teams had their (first) team meetings.

1st Local Committee Meeting
Today the 1st Local Committee Meeting (LCM) of the new semester took place. Not only the events of the last weeks have been discussed but also aims and responsibilities for the next half year. And of course we dealt with the expectations of members and Executive Board.
Well, and there is an announcement especially for our 'Oldies': There will be an Oldie Weekend from 27 to 29 April. So be prepared to have a great time with experienced AIESECers and maybe also share your room as there will be people from all over Germany come to Chemnitz. More information will follow asap. :)
